Ok, See the bike on the front page?

Hello Everyone.
When you sign on to Motorbikes.com you see a pic of a motorized bicycle sitting on the sand.

What is it?
What kind of motor & setup is involved with a bike like that?
Can you pedal it independently like a normal bicycle & then engage the motor when desired?

What are the pros & cons?

I am only familiar with the GEBE type of motorized bicycle.
It is a fine design, but this pic has really caught my eye & looks like my conception of a motorized bicycle.

Seems likie you might be able to get a bit more speed & power out of it
without distressing the spokes.
Any & all info would be greatly appreciated as I am here to learn to assemble a bike that I can truly enjoy!

it is a frame-mount engine
that bike doesn't exist in that form anymore
much cutting and welding (and some heavy-duty imagination)has taken place since that picture was taken (as well as a pretty cool riding adventure)

search 'sabrina' and you will know all !
