I've had gas with oil mixed in (don't remember the ratio, it was whatever I decided to use for break in so maybe 15:1) but it's been sitting for a LONG time, sometimes in the heat (maybe partially in the sun sometimes?) in the garage.

I get a feeling it's bad for my bike which is just a 2-stroke 66cc HT.
Does anything bad happen to old gas mixed with oil?

old gas often gets so stale that it won't run at all - I'd just pour it into a jug for use as cleaner for greasy parts

Gasoline gets stale after a while, and eventually will go sour and not run at all, oil lasts for a while but I tend not to use gas that is over a few months old. It has other uses though, good cleaner.

with this ethanol blended fuel we are using now after about 3 months without some stabilizer you get water separation as the ethanol in the fuel absorbs moisture till it reaches a critical point and seperates.
