Brakes Old coaster brake hub

Hey, I have an old coaster brake hub that I plan on re-building. It has a little nipple in the middle of it does this mean that it gets oil in that little hole? It is about the size of a regular grees fitting for greese but it has this little shield on it that looks like it would prevent a grees gun from fitting on it.

Yup! You hit the nail on the head. It is used to oil the internals with an oil can.

Thanks, it is a really cool hub I got it off of ebay. It was simple to rebuild. It came apart and goes together only one way. It is stamped germony in the middle and I think it came from the 40s. The arm says schwinn aproved.
