So I just saw an old single speed cruiser on Craigslist--I think it is a Murray from the badge --they said it's about 35 years old (80s vintage).
Frame looks rust free--some rust on chrome. It is only 20 bucks. Would this be a decent type frame for a build?
I'm not real familiar with older cruiser bikes. Thanks JOhn

I am primarily wondering about frame strength. I assume it is a lower end bike. Adding brakes will be a concern but I want a single speed.

Thanks.

Yea, $20 is one item at the grocery store nowadays and gone in a poof, nothing left.

Hell yeah it's worth it and a good build. The only thing is I would replace the forks, I wouldn't want to ride on those forks.
What upgrade would be a good idea for the forks? They are not as beefy as the forks on my Schwinn Cruiser, but they look like
the forks on my road bikes. I never go off-road.
