old schwinn corvette

hi guys just got this from a friend , and trying to figure out what year it is . he says its a 1942 corvette but i dont think so. i checked out the vitage website and got nothing so far so im going to post some pics so see if anybody knows something.. im going to mount and engine in it . my next project s# JO66498 larry ca thanks again !!!

ok i think i got it the new serial # list there is a possible under 1959 the s# has 6 numbers and one letter this is closer to the frame now

this falls in between those # s# JO66498

so now im thinking 1959 frame
but if this was true do the new # list also apply to the left dropout list because the s# is printed on the left drop out very confusing check it out see what you guys think larry ca

The way I read the listings I would say 1960 built Sept 30th J065262-J068159

I had an all original 1962 5 speed Corvette, it had stainless steel fenders and the plastic Schwinn sunburst type head badge that was glued on. It had the bookrack over the front fender.
