I bought another project bike with a skyhawk 66 that was mis-handled and needs a bunch of parts. Maybe one of you regulars blew up a motor and has some spare or left over parts.
1) I need a clutch handle and cable
2) I need a throttle and cable .
3) I need the choke cover and screws
4) I need a gas tank and fuel lines.
5) I could use an upgraded motor mount
Most of the parts I need are either hacked, missing , or broken. Hopefully one of you will find it in your heart to help out. The bike will run with what is on there ,but its a mess.
The bike is a trek 920 , but I'm not I will keep it. It also needs both shifters , a kickstand, brake pads , and a seat+post among other stuff.
I am a master at finding stuff and this bike is my winter project so not a hurry , but its really a great time for finding bikes or parts that someone is tossing. I may just pull it all apart and give it a restoration and paint job , depends on how much time i want to put into it.
Please help me and I could use some advice on the bike too. Thanks..
