Pedals.

For the most part plastic pedals stink. There are some good ones out there as my Raleigh MTB still has the stock 14yr old pedals with no cracks...

I bought the Nashbar Jaws pedals for my XR75, just because I wanted stable, non-slippy metal pedals on any of my motored bikes.

They have a very wide platform and I really like them. Since they're curved at the outer edges the reflectors look a little strange on them but you dont have to attach them I guess. Other than the reflectors there aren't any plastic pieces on these things and the bearings are supposed to be somewhat sealed to protect from foreign debris.
