Micargi anything should hold up and fit everything fine, maybe get one with a bike rack for the battery or buy a separate bike rack.

idk what size the tube mounts on the engine are, and what size the down tube is on this, but if it fits, it seems like it would be pretty cool. id call and ask bikeberry the diameter of the down tubes on this bike,

http://www.bikeberry.com/26-micargi-mens-pantera.html

and the diameter of the tube mounts on the bullet train engine.
looks like enough space for a jackshaft kit, so if you wanted later on you could add that,

and then swap out the tire for one with a geared hub,

and you got yourself a nice bike right there. and its got an alternator from what i understand, so you can slap a light on it, (dont know the voltage, cant provide info on which light to use) hook it up to the wiring and you got yourself a multi speed electric start bicycle. put a 10mm mirror adapter on it so you can see the a$$hole$ that keep trying to cut you off

a rear light that no one can say they didnt see unless they had blinding cataracts, see what type of battery it runs on, and get a dc-dc converter to run it off the alternator. mine is different looking but uses two triple a batteries, so if thats the case and their running in series, it should be around 3 volts ish to run the rear light.

good luck, ive been waiting to see someones build and then see how it turns out. i have a separate thread about how to get replacement parts if the engine has any issues and its no longer covered under warante

Yes, 1.5*3=4.5 but 1.5*2=3, and the light I have that's similar only uses two. Unless the one on eBay uses three triple a batteries.

lol, i think everyone has a degree of dyslexia sometimes. but yea, i think the most annoying part of that build would be getting the carb to sit straight, and getting the dc/dc converter.

Honestly the converter is probably easier to hook up than the rest of the motor. Online you can get all kinds of regulators and buck circuits. I personally like drok buck/boosters, it's 4 wires and next to impossible to hook up wrong. Some are even waterproof and have a tiny adjustment screw on the bottom that lets you regulate the out voltage. Set and forget.

You can also drop the 12v to something like 4.5 if you have a 4.5v item needing power, and split off that with a 3v regulator chip to just get the power you need for something slightly smaller. Flashing circuits can play a bit of havoc in regulators and bucks since it changes the needed power quickly (on off on off on off), but at small size blinkers shouldn't be a problem.

I have a phone charger I'm hoping to install with a 5v regulator at some point, then my friends or I could fill a dying cell phone while out or if one of us is too lazy to go inside to plug it in we could charge right in the work zone.

The Micargi Pantera 7-speed fits the engine just fine.

That is NOT what BikeBerry is selling, their is the single speed coaster brake version, the 7-speed version I use has front and rear V-brakes.

That's what irks me about outfits like BB and gasbike, they know you are going to be motorizing the bike they sale, yet they sell a bike with with only a crappy coaster brake and no accommodation for an added front brake besides a C-brake!

That's why I never buy anything important from either.
If you were smart, neither would you.

As for a battery a 12V Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) battery is best.

I have no clue what the rambling about using dry cells was about, but it always fun to read what people that know absolutely nothing about an engine yett 'suggest things' to others to make post ;-}

You can read my build topic about this engine here
http://kcsbikes.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=948

That bike is still sitting here awaiting replacement parts, unable to be used because there is no way to start it since the middle of last year.
If and when I actually get it running again it's going a GTA gastank frame with a jackshaft and 5-speed internal hub with disc brakes front and rear ;-}
