I’m wondering if a catnip cdi or a mz65 expansion chamber pipe clone will give higher rpm thanks👍.

If you can pay fees to get one from the US cheaper...
You have to remember our president is now charging Canada the same price to sell their stuff here as they charge the USA to sell our stuff there. In other words a tariff trade war is going on.

The original North American Free Trade Agreement eliminated tariffs between Mexico, Canada and the USA. Sounded good in the beginning. Then many of our factory companies relocated to Mexico where labor was much cheaper. When that happened NAFTA ended.

Canada has been charging duties on American stuff for a long time. I bought a control board for my Maytag heat pump from the US for $95, by time it got here it was 200 CAD. $45 exchange and the rest shipping and duties.
What Canada charges varies a lot. Some stuff is low, some crazy high.

The NAFTA agreement plus globalization was a hood wink. What wasn't talked about was all the manufacturing was sent some where else with the associated jobs.

Seems they want it back now. Day late, dollar short.

That pipe looks like a good one. Says shipping and duty all in for just under $60US. Never know if there will be extra charges on arrival.

And Trump is quite aware of this which is why he is doing the tariff tit for tat, He probably won't let up unless or until Ottawa gives up on having any tariffs at all with the US.

Trump will just play out the waiting game, whose economy can withstand the tariffs for the longest length of time, Ottawa, or Washington D.C...This is one reason why he is doing this, he knows he can win and Ottawa will eventually have no choice but to cave in.

The long thin header tube clones, aka the cheap ones like the first post has listed, are better suited to the actual RPM ranges these engines operate in. A real MZ65, or a copycat "real" MZ65 like the WC80 or Zeda ZDX65, are going to only be of benefit above 5500rpm.

If your desire is to pursue top end speed and higher RPM, then get a real or copycat real MZ.

If you want a strong pulling engine in the rest of the RPM range, and the best acceleration times but no real gain up top, the cheap clones are actually superior.

As for the real style, just get a Zeda ZDX65. Same basic thing, half the price.

Speaking of which, on a related but different note, Zeda does also now make a MZ65 clone with a Phantom flange on it.
