Yeah, that style with the longer thinner head pipe is the one most of us call clone pipes. Which, I find funny because the "real" MZ65 pipes are mostly clones too.I have a couple cheap at the time clone exhausts on two basic 66 cc bikes and they do a great job at mid range RPM to improve torque. As the motor approaches max RPM the power drops off quick.

Honestly, for the majority of the 49-70cc engines the clone pipes are far superior in where they produce power. LA Hover did a comparison of these 2 styles of pipes, using the WC80 pipe and a regular Clone pipe and the results were interesting.
He used a Zeda 80 that had some mild performance improvements and port work and recorded multiple pulls with each style of pipe on the same stretch of road in similar conditions, and used the video itself to time the acceleration time from 15-30mph, and then also did multiple top speed runs of each style to see what the difference was on the top end.
For starters he compared the Clone pipe to a stock muffler, and even if the clone pipe is considered bad by some people, it should be noted that the 15-30mph time of the stock muffler was way more than double that of even the cheap clone pipes.
The long header pipe clones ran an average time of 15-30mph of a hair over 10 seconds, with a top speed of 37mph that took quite a while to reach as you could tell the power fell off after about 32mph.
The WC80 took about 14.3 seconds to run from 15-30, but it really started to take off after 30mph and hit a 40mph top speed relatively quickly.
In these runs he also timed the 15-25mph time, and the story is really told on the difference when comparing that time to the 15-30.
The clone pipe 15-25mph time was 7 seconds, and the WC80 pipe was 9.2 seconds. Already a small difference that really drives home how the clone pipe is better in the lower rpm range, but even more telling is if you look at the difference in time between 25 and 30mph. The WC80 pipe took 4.9 seconds to go from 25-30mph while the clone pipe again had a 2 second advantage, only taking about 3 seconds to do so.
The time it took to reach their top speeds is once again worth mentioning as the time it took to go from 32 to 37mph with the clone pipe took so long he actually edited the video to jump ahead to the future while the WC80 pipe was one continuous clip, and the time it took to go from 30-40 was about an additional 19 seconds. The nature of acceleration with the WC and MZ pipes is much more linear in nature, and up to about 25mph the rate of acceleration between the clone pipe and those pipes matches, which means that 20-30mph range is where the 2 pipes overlap in terms of performance, with one picking up a lot where the other lacks.
Basically, for a typical build for every day use in commuter duty, the clone pipes are actually superior if you find yourself slowing down or stopping often and/or aren't as concerned with higher speed stuff.
