Performance loss from silencer?

I am looking at putting a silencer onto my exhaust so I don't get the cops called on me again for the noise
I was wondering if there would be a noticeable drop in power or if it would be so negligible I wouldn't really feel it.
also looking for suggestions on silencer setups

depends on your exhaust and the silencer set up.

you might even have some gains if you get a good silencer as well, (like those dirt bike ones)

you gonna need to double-check the diameter but it should be pretty close.

I used the briggs 1" cigar muffler on my KX65 expansion chamber and that quieted it down quite a bit.

i was gonna recommend a small engine muffler as well lol

about 5$ at your local hardware store quiets it down enough but doesn't compromise performance.
