Hi guys..so I bought a phantom 85 and couldn't find a decent bike in time and I settled on a 129$ Cranbrook from Walmart just because I wanted to see what this motor could do..long story short this motor rips.
It has the power of a small dirtbike. So I bought a Schwinn sanctuary 7 on Amazon and it arrived today. Beautiful bike much better quality and front and back v brakes..I was so exited to the phantom on this bike but I'm pretty sure it's not going to fit ad the exaust it def going to hit the front tire bo matter how much I space it off the front tube..does any body have a ny suggestions or input?.I'd appreciate lot as I really want this bike to work for the phantom 85..I will be awaiting replies

You need a different front motor mount that will allow you to place the motor higher and further back then what your using now.

See my post also posted today for someone else having the same problem.

Ps...I'm originally a South Boston, (Southie), "Masshole" myself...lol...lol.

Thank u damien..I somehow knew it would be you to respond..I've been browsing the threads and ur on here alot helping many other builders..I will order one of those mounts and go from there. Judging from the clearance from the wheel to the front tube( if you look at the shwinn sanctuary) I still don't think I will be able to get the muffler to fit in between there..I guess I should get the motor mounted and go from there..I'll let u know with some pics when I have the chance to do so....ur from southie?.what state u in now?.shout out from lowell!

Get the motor mount the best thing i ever did for myself out of everything and be careful on that phantom shell rip a hole in time for ya for sure. I got 54mph out of mine. And make sure your regularly maintaining it cause it seems as tho every bolt wants to shake loose on the thing use lock tite on everything. Mines not running atm and i believe has been down more days than up.. and the money ive spent on it is stupid... for no reason. But ill say she has been the fastest. I do like it, i would just like it to stay on the road more often than not. If you can't wait for the new bracket you can also, if you have one from another bike or something use one of those spacer mounts that go between the engine and the frame to lift it up off the frame some so as to get that clearance you seek but cut the 2 sloped sides off it first. It worked on my shwinn when i had it on there.
