Phantom won't start

So I just got my phantom together. Yesterday I got her running after a bit of persuading. Ran okay. Bogged really bad when you gave it throttle unless you had it a wot and let the build up rpm. Stalled if you and tried to idle. I switched the spark plugs to a ngk br8hs sorta helped. It was cooler out and seem to run lean but would idle. Had some power. Then about 10 minutes into my ride I got a pop out the exhaust stalled on the take off and would start for another 10 minutes. Got it to run again and once it warmed up again it started popping again then died again. been try to get it started all day and with our even the slightest fire. So I checked the spark and it seemed weak. I put of the oz magneto and it has okay spark. Tried start it and all I get is the occasional pop out of the exhaust. It also started leaking oil from the spark plug. It's got spark it's got fuel. Last is compression or an air leak. What could be the issue here

I checked the spark plug again and it's barely getting a spark and just the occasional pop when I twist the throttle wide open and and off. So I'm thinking its the cdi causing a no start. I tightened the spark plug and took the temperature sensor off and seemed to fix the leaking oil. But still only getting an occasional pop outta the exhaust. I also check compression with my thumb over the spark plug hole. It blows my thumb off when I turn it over. So compression seems to be good

Disconnect the kill switch, and try another new plug.

It's disconnected already I use aftermarket one because the stock one usually causes problems. The aftermarket one is disconnected

I put the oz coil on and it's still barley getting a spark. So I'm thinking its the cdi.

Hmm. Okay. No melted wires.on the exhaust? Check the boot too.

Just out of curiosity, what groove is the needle valve set at???...Also are you using the choke when your trying to cold start???

Just occasional pops outta the exhaust. That's after peddling my ass off

It set in the middle grove
