Phatmoto Rover 98cc build

With the way you did the engine riser you might be able to get away with moving the engine over a bit to help with alignment. If that's not possible, you might be able to space the driven pulley over to lighn up better.
So the next issue I ran into was the new carburetor. The idle was good but it would konk on throttle. I examined the main jet and noticed whoever installed it made a mess of the jet and particles of brass left to partly block the hole. After cleaning and testing the bike ran much better but I can tell it is still under jet size after drilling to .69 Have a jet kit on order so I should be able to get better performance than the current 60kph or 40 mile and hour. Have many budget performance upgrades to come.

40mph is a decent speed already! And I know you've still got some tuning to do. Great job. What is your final drive gear ratio?

Haven't a clue. All I know is I'm not able to rev very high rpms because of the limit of the main jet. I'm expecting a jet kit this week. I found out from another youtuber about these chinese knock off carbs. He says that most all these carbs come with tiny jets. You cannot just install these and expect them to work because they are not jetted correctly out of the box. Can't wait to get her tuned and tested. Check out my new heat shield. Hope you like. Thanks.

That looks sweet! I think you'll get quite a bit more once it's tuned right

Are you still running a governor? That will limit your RPMs to 3600.

It is not the governor limiting rpm, I removed that piece of @#$#$!#$%$@$ first chance I got. Another Phatmoto gripe I have, ..no shut off valves on the gas tanks and no room to install one. I installed an inline valve and I like it better than the metal one.

This knobby tread pattern is smooth on the street,
and it's always ready to give the traction ya need in gravel sand, rain or mud
