Phatmoto Rover 98cc build

Everything is good except that wonky sprocket. I hope the one I ordered from CDH power is a good one. It's a 40T
Just be aware it could be the wheel, holes for the brake drilled in the wrong location. Just fine for a brake disc, not so much for a sprocket. It would be worth the effort to put the wheel on a truing stand and check it.

The wheel is perfect, the brake disc rotor is perfect. The sprocket moves a lot. It is drilled off center, most certain.

That's a bummer, at least it wasn't terribly expensive. Have you reached out to the company to see if you can return it?
Carburetor Woes

So I finally received my jet kit and was removing the carb when I found the plastic gasket broken in several places. So I used a 2'' ABS pipe cap to make a new gasket. Great, got that ready and then went to change the jet and my screwdriver slips and I poked a hole in the plastic float. I tried patching with hot glue to no avail. Those plastic gaskets that come with the carb are a good idea but poorly engineered, they are very flimsy and easy to break when tightening the carb onto manifold. New parts on order. Riding my two stroke Huffy. I hate peddling but I'm always complaining.

If I did manage to make the JB weld stick to the polypropylene plastic, would it hold up to gasoline?

It would likely be a temporary fix, but it is fairly fuel resistant. They also make a fuel tank weld that is specifically for use with gas. Scuffing the plastic with sand paper would help the job weld stick better.

Should have most all my phatmoto parts tomorrow. I got tired of the little headlights that wont stay put so I upgraded my light and power supply today.
