Phatmoto Rover 98cc build

Thanks but after reading the instruction sheet, it says don't expose to vibration and direct sunlight. I may have to rethink this mounting setup.
Find a 12v drill battery. They're rechargeable and a small package. That's my plan for my bike when I get around to wiring it.

Maybe put the battery in a small tool bag and hang it from under the back of the seat or off the front of the handlebars

Tool battery is a good option and I did consider that. However, I plan on running more electronics in the future than just lights. ;)

I will try to insulate and pad the mount. This battery only cost me $22.00 including shipping on ebay. The light I found on ebay also for $34.00 much cheaper than the one from phatmoto.

Yeah, put rubber on the mount , and if it don't work your only out $22.
I think rubber padding on the mount will work
I love your big headlight and how ya got it mounted (y)

I'm lucky my Whizzer has a 65 w stator that supports a 12v 1.3ah battery to run DOT approved lights and horn
AGM Battery cost $25

Wow, that's really cool. I would like a bigger tail light and signal lights next but haven't decided on which one. The LED headlight works well and is DOT approved. I have a regular handle bar mount motorcycle switch on order. It will be nice to ride without the need to take my hands off the handle bars. This is the light I found. Thanks.

After a couple of jet sizes up my speed increased and the new sprocket is awesome. After a few attempts at a battery tray I finally got it right. Start with a 2''x30'' length of roof flashing. Carefully mark, cut, and bend to fit. This tray ends up slightly larger than the battery to allow the insulation to fit inside. It will be fastened to the aluminum angle,
