Egor, nice 2 tone match up on the tank .... are you handy at that or did you have someone do it for you ... really punches up the look .

:)Recumbent ... heh ! Quit tearing up that poor golf course and straighten up that flower pot you knocked over !

Thanks for the complement. I like to do my own work, actually it is a rattle can job, you just have to use good brand, and clear coat. I used to work for Drag Specialists back in the day, the owner Eddie Copley was the best painter ever, he was the one taught me to hang color. We were building Choppers mostly Harley, 1968-70. I don't have a single picture of one. Have fun Dave

Well, I only have ONE with me and a bike, and it's at night. But I'm posting it anyway, 'cause it's one to remember. This is DIRECTLY after my VERY FIRST ride on my first build! It was one o'clock in the morning on a early September week night, and I had just finished mounting my first engine. Now, you and me both know you that upon finishing a first build, even if it is 1 AM and even if you DO have to work at 8 AM the next morning, you cannot just let it sit there until after work the next day, right?! Besides, it was still very warm out! So, I hopped on, started pedaling, popped the clutch, and VOILA! It WORKED!!

Anyway, I was so happy I rode back to the house, and since my wife heard me buzzing around, she quickly grabbed the camera and snapped a pic of me and my first moto-baby....

Hi Barret - Been there done that. I bought a new Honda in 66 took it straight home, had to see what was inside, when my dad got home from work at one in the morning, opened the garage and said " why did you take that beautiful motorcycle apart " I had to dad I needed to see if Honda put it together correct. I rode it to school the next morning. I still love engines. Have fun Dave
PS: Cool photo. I worked for Honda for over ten years. If you multiply about five bikes a day and at least two of them would be an overhaul, I wonder how many bikes that was!
