First picture, no. second picture I can't tell, kinda blurry. The "e" clip has to be seated squarely in the groove. It's a good idea to find some new e clips if those were used once already.

I use 10-11mm internal circlip. Depending on the maker what size. They have different shapes sometimes. They are kind of a pain to get it, but hold tight.
Take needle nose pliers and grab onto the straight part. You need to kind of twist it and press it into the groove. It's tricky and it will probably take several tries. Once it's in there you should be able to rotate it around in the groove.
