What do I do about try to install a reed with piston ring that are exposed in the intake port? I'm trying to put a window in. It's a Zeda triple 40. I'm having to many issues with trying to get the stock nt carb to seal. I've sucked up 2 rubber o-rings so I'm trying to put my minkuni clone back on with the tunable mb rebel pipe. It's an open port with slanted transfer roofs

A thinner base gasket??? Looks like a high hole piston, maybe a low hole piston will get you there. Check the reach before putting the head back on.

Could it be possible to have a 38mm crank and short rod by mistake and not a 40mm long rod? I'm thinking about getting those Zeda jugs because my Zeda triple 40 came with the old style jug... Too bad bicycle engines isn't all what they claim they are...
