I've been planning an Ebike (for about 6 months
).
Spent quite a bit of time at (more Ebike Centric than here): Endless-Sphere
Occasionally turn up something of interest here via Google and would like to be able to participate.
So far planning on a Full Suspension Mtn Bike with a this motor or a similar motor (under 2 lbs and easily sustains 2,500 Watts ):

The motor choice (RC Motor) was inspired by Matt's Recumbent:
