pocket bike exhaust on a CG?

theyre complete crap, but yes... having the two cones will be better than nothing. your on the right track with hacking it up at least.

ideally you should fabricate a complete pipe based on the engines porting itself. THEN you will REALLY notice the difference!

also note changes in diameter EVERYWHERE. a badly matched port will render a pipe almost useless as the pressure waves reflect from the wrong sections. same goes for headers and all that jazz. gotta be smooth and one constant diameter (other than being tapered) with no abrupt changes.

the stinger being shoved up into the pipe is fine. it just bleeds pressure and lets the gas out. the header into the first cone does have to be smooth. ideally flare the pipe to snug OVER the end of the cone.

make your belly extension sleeved so you can adjust it to see the effects. longer for low rpm, shorter for high. like they do on karts and hydroplanes...
