The most you can do without starting to invest time and money would be port matching and some blending/smoothing.

There are a lot of variables in two stroke tuning. Getting a good carb tune with the stock carb and the right gearing for your use will be the most economical use of time and money. Retarding ignition timing may help, its something you can adjust without spending anything.
