Lol. Lots of people here would tell you that. Unless you have @Mike Cyanide level skills and experience, stick with something like the Phantom.

I've straightened him out alittle bit lol after alot of messages. Good kid just has to do alot more homework. Trying convince him to stick to basic China dolls for now. Everybody wants power but if ya skip ahead like that you miss learning alot of crucial skills. At his level both phantom AND avenger are super high risk motors. One throttle happy ride and it's all gone lol. I'm a solid advocate that you always invest in the tools of the trade first along with some upgrades for your China doll. I was able to ascertain that he has a 49mm iron bore. It's a BUYERS MARKET for tha right now! It can be deck out for pennies! 30$ for cnc head 49$ for mz65 30$ for oz reed 10$ for a sprocket. That's only 120 in parts. Deck it,port.. DONT SKIP AHEAD!

That sir is why I recommend them as a first. Sure. Sure the pk80/ld80 (g4 cyl)has a superior design and is much easier to port BUT in trade the 49mm is BULLETPROOF. after porting my origanal that I bought from a kid that abused it I sold it alone for 200$. It runs reliably to this day lol
