But seriously, first just put a zip tie on the choke lever to hold it, then report back if that fixed your problem

Get rid of that crap chinese spark plug. They are notorious for going bad and causing running issues just as you describe. Go to the auto parts store and get an NGK BR6HS - part number 3922 - and gap it to .025

Yeah. those zip ties can be tricky lol
Maybe a 2' x 1/2" zip tie will work to hold the choke lever?
But if not, ya better get the assorted pack from HF so ya got the correct length

I think the spring idea is the best. You shouldn't need choke on for long, so holding it isn't too bad

BTW do ya think a 2' x 1/2" zip tie is too small to hold that choke lever?
