Recently got a kit that had a new spark plug, cylinder, and brand new cylinder head, and intake manifold, and spark plug, when I put put it together on my bike everything fit perfect but the Piston wouldn't connect to the Piston rod like it was too small. is there any fixes cuz I don't have any more money to buy parts. what do I do? like a DIY or something?

Moderators Note:
Please do NOT post personal information like emails, phone numbers, mailing addresses etc. on a world wide open forum...That is one of the best ways I know of to give spammers and scammers enough information for ceaseless emails, phone calls etc,...Use the Private Message service the forum has for the purpose of sharing personal information rather than a public broadcast.

Did you take pictures you can post, you didn't say anything about whether there is a needle bearing or a bushing on that wrist pin that your working with to attach that piston???

You say you just got the kit, did you buy it new from a reputable vendor or elsewhere like a private party or pawn shop etc.???

OP, have you called/contacted the vendor where you bought it from? They should stand behind it. Maybe you're putting it together wrong. That's where posting pics here can help others maybe figure it out with ya. What model motor is it? What cc size is it?

As Darwin stated, if there is a manufacturing defect that is not allowing you to assemble the engine your best course of action would be to contact the vendor you purchased the engine from.

That said, as the others have also mentioned a few pictures or even a video showing us the problem would help us determine if it i just user error or an actual part defect. There are many experienced builders and even a few of us that are actual mechanics that frequent this forum that have the wisdom and capability to help you resolve this.
