So Randy the K goes to the Progessive office and plunks down 75 bucks for insurance for a year for his Yamaha scooter. He didn't pass the drivers test so he said "The heck with it." and I traded him for the Western Flyer.
He goes back to cancel the insurance and they tell him they can only give back about 25% of what he paid a few days before.
They never said anything about any "fees", or anything at all about early cancellation fees... I've NEVER been charged to cancel a policy early with Allstate, which I've done on several occasions.
They decided to give back 45.00 after he made a little noise, but that amount seem like they pulled it out of their you-know-what.
I think the whole deal stinks and will be letting prospective buyer of insurance know about this.
