Will the Clam Shell Sprocket Adapter from Live fast Motors http://www.livefastmotors.com/accessories.html work with a coaster brake. I mean will there be clearance for the coaster brake arm? Thanks in advance!
The Clam Shell(LARGE) is meant for a coaster brake & yes it does have clearance for the coaster arm because it comes with an additional spacer which brings the arm out to the required distance.
It's NOT easy to setup but once setup works extremely well....i suggest u buy the required X toothed sprocket at the same time.
It's not difficult to elongate the 9 holes from a normal HT sprocket if u have the right equipment(ie,drill-press) but it's easier simply purchasing theirs.......your choice man.
LFM are reputable ppl to deal with so u should have no problems there.
