Ran dry, now issue

So I bought a mountain bike with a 49cc engine on craigslist having little idea of two stroke motor mechanics, bear with me


Having no fuel gauge I of course ran out of fuel today. Now I'm refueled but having problems getting the engine running again. Any tips?

Also, can anyone direct me to a general troubleshooting thread?

Have you fouled the plug? Too much oil will do foul a plug pretty quick
