So - how far do you get to go on 1 tank - let's assume you're using the standard 1.5l/ 0.4gal dealio ?
On longer trips, do you carry a little bottle of oil with you and how do you avoid refueling while the motor's HAWT ?
Pedal for a while before hitting the pump ?

The standard tanks that come with most of the CG kits are actually 2.0 Litre tanks, not 1.5 litre.
I have no idea where you got that from.

With the half gallon tank my Phantom came with my single tank range was anywhere from about 30 miles to 50 miles. Really depended on what speeds I was cruising at and the terrain as well as my overall riding habits. If I were to scoot along at 25 to 30mph on flat ground consistently it's at least 40 miles.

Edit: For your other question. I keep a small bottle in a pouch strapped to my seat post just in case. As far as fueling while hot. I just fuel.

Currently trying to revise my bike build ( having issues with time to do it lol) which includes a 1 gallon tank.

I have a 4 stroke so no need to carry oil. I also have a 5-quart see through gas tank. This allows me to make long trips and only use 100% ethanol-free gas.

138cc 4 stroke flat head Whizzer Motorbike 1 gal tank will get 125 mpg @ 25 mph
@ 40 - 45 mph she will get about 75 mpg

There's usually a gas station before ya run out of gas. I haven't had to push her yet
So don't pass up a gas station when your out in the middle of nowhere
