Finally one year after my introduction I present my first bike:

    $10 bike
    $15 seat (priority)
    Spooky Tooth 48cc engine
    Makes one Rat Ped.

    This hobby has potential. :D

Looks like you could take a link or two out of the chain. :)

Great job! Looks like the 49cc fit perfect. Is that a extra support for the chain tensioner?

Thanks, I think it turned out ok for my first try. Also thanks to Spookytooth they were great to deal with

As for the chain tensioner I had to make a support for it because it just didn't sit right on the frame but it was fun to make.

Man I gotta say this little bike turns more heads then my full size motorcycle. Last night I had crowds come out of their houses to see what I was doing
  6. Nice bike, I love these in black - you should get a particulate filter for your fuel line or you'll be cleaning your carb pin a lot. Just FYI :)

    Thanks I'll buy one.

I also want to make an antique looking gas tank, something more flat sided like the early motorbikes.

  8. I would love a black, barrel-ish shaped tank to go behind my seat to replace my crossbar-mount gastank. I can't find one anywhere.

Here's a cool idea for a gas tank

    Do you like beer?

Order a 5 liter mini-keg of Heineken, drink the beer, turn the aluminum mini-keg into your gas tank.
