I agree, but North America as a whole is a somewhat unique market, especially the U.S. and Canada, where many people live in regions where highways are the main roads to get from place to place, and the low power bikes like the Grom really aren't ideal. Even the KP Mini and KPM200 are a little under powered for real, safe, highway use as they need to be held pretty much wide open to do the speed limit. I think that is why the 400-650cc bike market has become so strong. They strike the best balance of small engine, but powerful enough to be the most useful in our market for the majority of people outside of big city environments.Reviewers would say gentle and polite.
