First post.
Just acquired a Schwinn Meridian with the thought of electrifying it. Would like to find a source for the rear axle sprocket like the one that is on there.
Anyone know where I can buy one?

Thanks
Greg

Thanks for the forum suggestion and info.
I have bought an electric motor and controller and still have to buy a chain and that sprocket and a battery, plus an throttle for the handlebar. I'm retired so I have lots of time to fiddle with projects.

PS
I like Alamogordo. We always go to the Space Museum when we are in town just so see if there is anything new. We used to own property out of Cloudcroft, but bought property over here as it's better for astronomy.

Do you have a pic of the bike your wanting to "motorise" and more specifically are you trying to "electrify" it meaning an E-Bike or a gas motor kit much like mine is...Here are a few pics of mine.

I"m a retired old fart myself and will be turning 70 in June...lol...lol.

Just remember this at all times though...We are NOT old, we are just "Chronologically Gifted" is all...lol...lol.
Even though we are both certified to fart dust at our age...lol.

Too bad you purchased already, a meridian is a good candidate for a mid-drive. Then there is no need for the sprocket.
