Rear mount friction kit?
When the drive roller is engaged does it cause drag when not using the engine? When it’s engaged do you have to throttle the engine?

Yes when the roller is engaged it causes drag. No, you don't have to throttle the engine when the roller is engaged. This is due to the fact a centrifugal clutch is being used.
