Just my suggestion. Loctite 243, not 242, for the motor. Has around a 100 degree higher temp rating. I just buy the bigger bottle and use it on everything.

That just made me go and check my tube of Permatex blue locktite...The tube doesn't have the number 242 or 243 on it, just the words "Medium Strength"...Heck, all i know is it works and works fine me...lol.
Usually it will say on the bottle. Permatex blue does have a high temp variant, which is the most common. Usually rated to 300f, which puts it in the middle of Loctite 242 and 243
I am a fan of the 50ml bottle.
The only thing I know for sure is the one i'm using is working out just fine for me...haven't lost anything I use it on yet...lol.
