Rear Seat Viability(Tag Along Attachment)

I had an idea of adding a rear bike attachment to pull multiple people, I searched the forum but couldnt find any examples of people doing this. Is this really stupid and I'm missing something or could this possibly work? Please tell me how it went if youve tried this before as Im thinking of buying one. Thank you!

Lots of us have done pull behind trailers, I've seen in the past push builds also. You may be the first to do a passenger hitch up build. I personally would just do a tandem build or look for an adult pull behind trailer also you could consider doing a motorized rickshaw build. You're putting an awful lot of trust in that one connection point.

Besides telling your passenger to give you pedal assist when ya need it,
They can listen to the exhaust note and breath in all your exhaust fumes
