Rear Sprocket Spacing?

I have my rear sprocket installed hard up against the spokes, will installing the second spacer that came with my kit (between the sprocket and the spokes) be enough to move the chain off the tyre?

It's only lightly rubbing, but being a whitewall it make a terrible mess.

Thought I might as well install the spacer as the wheel is off while I install the fenders, but being it's such a PITA job, I didn't want to do it if it wasn't going to help.

yes, it will
the proper order is
sprocket, rubber, spokes, rubber, metal rings, washer, nut

that gives you space and protects your spokes
