Rear wheel choice

I just compiling the parts for my first build, 26” mountain bike, 80cc motor from eBay.my question is on a rear wheel, there is one on Amazon that claims heavy duty with disc brake flange, is using a disc brake ready wheel best to mount sprocket or is a hub mount superior? Thanks

I was actually looking at the BBR tuning steel rim, some of the reviews are not that good, are alloy rims as strong as steel rims?
