Wheels rear wheel wobble

Both of those are beautiful in my opinion. It would be a waste to try and make a suspension bridge over such a small river. But the Golden Gate? THAT is a masterpiece.
Yeah it's hard to find the right pictures quickly to illustrate my point. But the suspension bridge can do things that are simply not possible with the earlier technology.

The word spoke, you mentioned earlier is it the correct term? I would say it is the correct term for the spokes on the alloy wheel since they called them spokes on cart wheels; but on a bicycle wheel they misnamed them. They really should be called suspenders, like in the suspension bridge diagram. They are always under tension.

Anyway that's just my late night ramblings. :oops:
 
Lol….. Ok, now I have a mental picture of bicycle wheels held together by mens suspenders. Like for pants. That's just wrong.
How's that for late night rambling huh?

BTW… how about a totally spokeless bike? Wonder if any of these (there are tons on pinterest) could support a motor.
