Hello all ... I got a turn signal off of amazon (see here) and it was DOA. Can anyone recommend something? Thanks for reading my post.:giggle:

Return it?
Unless you know a thing or two about electrical things it won’t be worth the time.
Alternatively- open it up- take copious notes and pictures - and we can guess together
And your welcome 🙏

I'm going through the process of returning it now. I was just wondering what kind of turn signals other bikers are using and would recommend. Guess I could take some pictures and see if it can be fixed.

This is the one I’m using. A wireless $30 setup, on Amazon. Nothing to wire, very easy to mount, and all controls right on the handlebar keypad. Just an option...

Depends entirely on what you're wanting. If all you want is lighting that can be seen at night then many of the cheaper ones work good for that. If you want lighting that can be seen during the day light, then check out moped lighting systems. There's several lite weight 12 volt batteries one can use to power moped front and rear directional lights as well as brake and tail lights along with a high low beam head light. I also recommend a duel horn system. Make the one on the right a low volume horn for alerting other cyclist and pedestrians. Make the one on the left a loud volume horn for alerting closed compartment vehicles.

Another thing I advise doing is mounting a light on your helmet for night riding. Then no matter where you look it will be lit up.

Did you by any chance forget to add batteries and (or) not put it on it's initial charge? Sometimes the Li-Poly batteries are just surface charged and will require a full charge cycle before working.

If your skills are in the realm of DIY building your own, there's a few after market motorcycle headlights with built in LED turn signals that could be ran on a 6 amp hour, AGM sealed 12 volt, small motorcycle battery. It would be a heavier install and would require charging but would be a lot more durable and easier to troubleshoot.

Try Something Like This For front and rear light i removed the generator and replaced it with a 12v-18v rechargeable battery from a drill when i did mine, she is nice and bright. you can get it from 12$-18$ depending where you go from ebay to amazon.
