I am looking for a high-performance carburetor to maximize the potential and power output of my Phantom 85 v3. After researching, I’ve shortlisted a few options, but I would appreciate your advice on which would deliver the best performance. Additionally, I’m considering upgrading to a better reed valve kit, possibly replacing the standard ZTMoto reed valve kit.

The carburetors I am currently considering are:

- Mikuni VM 20
- Polini CP 21
- Dell'Orto PHBG 21 BD | Malossi PHBG 21 BD
- PWK21 | Stage6 R/T PWK 21

Could you please advise which of these carburetors is the best choice for my setup? Furthermore, do you recommend a round-slide or flat-slide carburetor for optimal performance? Any recommendations for other components that could enhance my build, such as a better reed valve kit, would also be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your assistance.

Yes I can advise you, I advise that you leave your Phantom stock with the exception of the air filter.

I have two Phantoms, they hit 50 plus MPH, (82 KMPH), right out of the box and still has throttle left over with a 100 pound bike and I weigh 220 pounds...How much more do you expect out of a bicycle with a motor strapped to it???

The pics below will show you what I am doing it with and you will notice I put money into mag wheels as well as disc brakes because a motor with almost 6 Horse Power right out of the box requires it.

You're just posting pictures of your bike to make me jealous mine is still under construction lol

You have asked this same question many times already since August,

I am just wondering where in Germany you can even ride this since these bikes are not even legal in Germany on any roadways, byways, or highways, or autobahns,

Thanks for your reply, well it's illegal to ride these bikes in Germany, but if you ride these on areas where cars dont drive often i would say it's okay to ride it there like Not in the City, it's hard to explain in english but i Hope you understand a little.

If ask If you would buy a new carb with a new Air Filter or Reed Valve Kit, which one would u get, not that i want to Just to get know a bit better because im Like new to this Community, Just wondered a bit.

And yeah you right i asked Kinda the Same Question a Lot, i Just want to learn a bit more for my self

A VM18 and OZ (stock type) reed would be adequate without being too much. I think a 20mm+ carburetor is too much for one of these engines. I know you're in Germany so links don't really help, but maybe if you can find an adapter like @ImpulseRocket linked to here... Post in thread 'What carb should i get?' https://motoredbikes.com/threads/what-carb-should-i-get.66136/post-687736.
Hmm i heard the PWK should be a better Option and the max would be a 21 mm for a 85 cc, so i found a PWK one i wanted to ask what you Guys thinks about it

Go with the Nibbi brand if you can. I can say they are of stunning quality for the price. I put one on my fourwheeler, but then it decided to jump time and destroy the cam before I could fire it with the new carb.
