so ,, i get they are One Way valves
but
i Just See people Talking About port timing
.. i Was thinking .. would this Just Restick the Air flow?
I get the Exhaust has Some Prussre to keep to Much Fuel from coming through .. ( and unburned Fuel From Getting Though)
but
i don't understand how a Reed Valve would add Performace ...
is this just a thing For people Customizing the ports in these 100cc cylinder Kits? or am i Missing Somthnig

The reed keeps the new charge in the case and doesn't allow it to back feed into the carb. Thus all the air/fuel goes into the upper cylinder.

In that video he starts 4 stroking bad right around the 17:35 mark, you can hear he just isn't hitting the band right.

I recommend to do a general search of reed valves / 2 stroke and you will probably learn things much quicker than you would here through painstaking posts over and over.
