Replacement brake pads for a 2007 Whizzer

Yep I thought so because 2005 & early 2006 NE-5 had the rubber band brake and then by 2007 it was upgraded to the Drum brake with shoes
Whizzer also sold a drum bake assembly kit so guys could upgrade their rubber band brake

By 2008 Whizzer used disc brakes on the NER and Ambassador
Whizzer also offered a disc brake conversion kit for the rear of previous bikes

But many (like me) chose to upgrade the F&R wheels to a better quality wheels
Worksman Cycles F&R drum brake clincher rim wheels with 10 gauge spokes .

While the Whizzer front drum brake wheel is very good, The rear wheel hub is prone to early failure and brakes were not very good
That hub was used on all rear wheels from 2005 - 2009 A drum or a disc adapter can be screwed onto the LH side

1999 - 2004 Whizzer's had coaster brake rear wheel & front drum brake
Do you know if those rims are still available

Do you know if those rims are still available
This is what I ordered It'll be about $300 for the set shipping included
order over the phone 3-6 weeks delivery They have to build the wheels

26" Front drum brake wheel part # 77a (wheel has notches for the speedo gear)
26" Rear Drum Brake w/freewheel part# 77RA

I'll give you some mounting tips if you choose to buy

I agree with wrench, worksman wheels are the best. Putting on the rear sheave isn't easy and will take some time, also make sure to get the big brake cable. The band brake cable is to weak!

Your 2007 NE-5 has an Auto clutch and that uses a Freewheel on the rear so ya gotta use a drum brake wheel or the disc brake conversion kit

Besides a coaster brake rear wheel sucks

The 1999 - 2004 WC-1 with slip clutch uses a coaster brake The left hand lever is to pull the slip clutch
Guys converted those to Auto Clutch and rear drum brakes because it's better

But many left the 1999-2004 WC-1 as is because it's correct and they want to keep the bike original
