I'm replacing the trigger throttle that comes with the GEBE kit, but I can't figure out how to get the cable out of the lever. I've already got the cable free from the throttle body and out from the slot in the lever, but the plastic sleeve around the cable where it enters the lever mount doesn't want to come out. Should I just yank harder with pliers? Already have a reversed "time trial" brake lever that I intend to use as the new throttle lever, and it should be much easier to hold during long rides, so I don't really care if the old lever is destroyed.
