Hey guys, been along time since ive been on this board, been busy with a few other projects but im starting a new one now, a 1960's Schwinn speedster frame with 700c wheels, drop bars and a chrome keg style tank under the top frame rail, dunno what motor im going to run with yet, but im hoping to get something reasonably zippy, low vibration and especially low noise, im thinking about a chinese 4 stroke engine, ive had a couple of 50cc and 80cc 2 strokers in the past but found that they vibrated too much and drew too much attention to my bike (from the police - due to the noise) but yeah, definatly not interested in going with a high cost electric engine either. Its going to be a board track / bobber / cafe racer style thing, will post build pics soon, and any help with motor selection would be greatly appreciated

Chris

Welcome back. Look forward to your build. Electric motors have some advantages, but initial cost isn't one of them.
