I took the spark arrestor out of my muffler many years ago. However, I never ride off road either. The spark arrestor screen isn't removable for cleaning, in the stock Lifan 152f3 muffler. They do stay unobstructed for a long time ime, but obv they clog eventually. If you care about such things, be aware that it's not usda approved
I operated chainsaw for 50+ yrs, never started a fire once. In the 70s there were no screens.I took the spark arrestor out of my muffler many years ago. However, I never ride off road either.

I worked for Irving Oil back in the day. We still shut it down and went home at 2 after starting at day break. no reg though. Here we have regs, truckers are on their way home at 1. Same as the post peelers. They used to shut us down early in the dry season. Beginning of July we were on the unemployment ski team.

Years back most of Honda's on/off road and dual/trail sport bikes came with their own Krizman Spark Arrestor. Every Trail 90 and 2 stroke engined bike of mine had these arrestors, and they were sufficient for on and logging roads through forests, not so sure about trail riding on unimproved trails. As of 5yrs ago (when i was working as a fire spotter/wilderness watchman, on NFS and BLM lands), you're required to have a USDA Approved spark arrestor as an integral part of the exhaust system. During extreme fire danger levels, they will check... At least in Oregon they did.
