Riding Rich Ported Cylinders

Well it seems as if things aren't gonna work out with Pirate.

I'm pondering the thought of porting Jugs for the general public.

$50.00 you supply the JUG.

$75.00 Portjob and Jug.

This would include shipping.

I spent alot of time on this project and i hate to see it all go to waste.
I can start with that and hopefully grow from there.

I would very much enjoy manufacturing a Billet Engine.
All i need is a CNC.

I have 12 years experience as a Machinist.

It seems the HT engines and parts are drying up.

There is no way im gonna quit....I'll find a way.

Peace

Everyone should be using reed valve intake systems on their engines and Rich is going to make them available in large quantities to the public, as they will be flying out the door into the hands of happy customers.

Thanks for asking about shipping outside the US.

I will look into that.

REEDS REEDS REEDS REEDS

Ok guys i know you have been waiting for this one.
And ureka i got it.

I will be able to incorporate the Reed Valve into the Cylinder.
I'm working on it now and anticipate easily having it completed today.

I will post my pics and a video showing it on the bike running and then we will go for a ride.

So if all goes well....this configuration will be available next week.

Then you guys better buy.

So i can bring more woderful products to the people.

And no worries mate.

I will post instructions and step by step video on building the rest of the performance Engine.

Honestly the hardest part is the cylinder porting.

Anyone can easily do the rest.

Peace

Excellent Rich.

If you can supply, i will buy.

Now, we needs pics of the reed setup and we need pics of your prototype big bore cylinders.
For my application, i'm not that concerned with a ported cylinder, but i want a big bore, low rpm engine that produces exceptionally strong low rpm torque with a standard muffler.
A tuned pipe will just have the police impounding my bike because it stands out too much and makes the bike look a lot less stealthy, as well as more noisy.

My goal is to have a low revving engine that's as quiet as possible, with a very reliable, balanced crankshaft assembly.

not a problem
and actually we can make a compact tuned pipe like the X-CAN that will be quieter than stock .

You need porting if you want power.

Cant have one without the other.

If the engine has to work to breathe that lost power.

And thats where the HT looses it's power

Ill have pics later today.

so long as my wife dosent take me on a 24hr shopping spree.

As well i have a new high comphead coming.

I like the look of jims head and i know they have corrected some things.

But the head i recieved for testing runs too hot.

If you putt around your fine.

If you rip around it wont be long before it overheats.

But again please please don't take this the wrong way.

I'm not sayiing the new version of Jims head has any problems.
And as far as i know they fixed some things.
I dont have the new head.

The one i do have is very difficult to get to run cool enough.

I run 8oz octane booster in a 1/2 gal tank with 50:1 synthetic oil.

High octane to reduce ping.

Even so unless i jet the carb real fat it runs too hot.

I noticed that same phenomenon with the Rock Solid Engines billet head - it ran stonkingly hot when i was able to get it to run, so hot that smoke would be rising up off the cylinder head with the bike stationary.

The billet heads seem to need a lot more cooling surface area than they are given.

Rich, if you can supply one of these, i'll buy it:

If it looks similar to the standard muffler (a little larger in diameter or length is fine) it will be a hot seller.

where do i buy a reed valve and fabian you should make sure to make the new x-can so that it will not it the peddles.. and tilt it close to the frame of the bike.. that would be nice and i will be one then..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9C3h9VojLxo my homemade exhaust.. you can hear it at the same point as the car near the trees it passes.. good but i am going to shoot for silent next...i will be trying a tiny car muffler.. 6 inches wide by twelve inches long and yes i will be keeping the stock exhaust pipe also
