Ring the bell for mental health...'nother one on the road!

I went ahead and tweaked the front mount engine until it fit the wide forks.

Filled it up and ran it around, having a blast until.....I RAN OUTTA GAS!!!!!

Had to pedal ten miles home.

This engine has a lot less power than the Happy Time frame mount engines, but is at least ten times smoother, and considerably quieter. Starts instantly and can be run right down until you can hardly balance the bike.....It also tops out at only about 20 mph. It is

a lot easier to pedal home when it quits making noise.

i have a couple of these motors.i was acheiving 25 mph on mine with a replacement bigger roller from mike schneider msamigo@aol.com <msamigo@aol.com>.he specialises in these.

Thanks folks! Randy the K rode that one over to my sisters annual bash for "toys" (gokarts/minibikes/ATV's/dirtbikes.....and now motoredbikes).

The original plan was for Randy the K and I to ride the Happy Times over there and take this one as an extra for the road going excursions. (everyone needs a break from dirt riding now and then)

Wellllll.....Randy the K's chain flew off three miles into the trip over there (about 25 miles). I looked at his tensioner and it was all fubar'ed...he said "I tightened it as tight as I possibly could." That was an hour after I told him not to over tighten anything on these Happy Times since the bolts are junk.

Anyhow, Mrs. Joe and daughters no. 3 and 4 came along in the truck loaded up with all the other goodies, so I heaved his Western Flyer up into the truck and got this one out. I rode it and he put extra wear on my military bike and we just took a little longer to get there.

Once there, several people took turns on both bikes, all were having a Happy Time moment afterwards.
