Robin Subaru Crank Driven Folding Mountain Bike

Well its a Robin Subaru Crank Driven Folding Mountain Bike... simple :2thumbsup:

frame is 1980's rudge biframe cro-mo

gearbox is 5:1 8T ouput sprocket

feels really nice to ride nice to ride. i feel i have yet to test if full hill climbing capacity. its flat speed is too fast for sensible/chicken rider like myself.

pros; handeling, weight, stelth looks (i like how much it still looks like a MTB), gear range :)

cons; not sure of durability of crank freewheel might replace it with a 22t freewheel and drill hole in the crank sprocket to mate it up, its more complex than others i surpose

(intellectual propertry of Me fireball_jones but other DIYer's feel free to use if you want, got to show others MBer's love but no professional etc)

A man than can make can make his dreams a reality

problem uploading pics :(

Great looking set up but there isn't too much thats totally new.

There was a guy from Portland selling whole bikes with a Robin Subaru
behind the seat like that driving through the gears. It did require pedaling
though at all times so was a pedal assist.

How about a pic of the other side?

here is the other side.

i have tried to find a similar design who/where is that guy in portland? doesnt scooter man live there and design something different? either way "i like to ride my bicycle" :)
