It is exactly as the title States, when I apply my choke the RPMs on my 66cc motor shoot way up. It Also does it after it's warmed up when the choke is applied just not quite as bad. Has anybody had similar issues? I need to add, I've been running a vm18 for the last couple years and this is a new problem. It runs and idles fine when choke is turned off.

must be lean - could be intake air leak, but sounds tiny like maybe some gasket leak

I had a similar issue with my 66/80, but it would bog out at open choke, run somewhat ok with half choke. The problem with mine, was, the jet inside the carb bowl was loose and need to be tightened. Just a possible thought.
