Rubber Engine Motor Mounts

Has anyone ttred using the rubber slip fittings plumbers use, to protect the frame and damped vibration?

I use urethane leaf spring bushings cut in half.
Vibration isolation without the flex and play of rubber.
52 durometer urethane is what I like best. I turn them down
a bit to fit the motor mounts and then weld flanges to the frame
to run a through-bolt.

The link has changed

Hi all,

the link that shows the plumbing part being used as a motor mount has changed. The new link is accessed off the semperkeith.com site. So far, no problems at all with my arrangement, but, the Ridley motor mounts are much better looking for sure.
